The Countdown is On!!

Mark your calendars for March 12th! We decided that would be our induction day, if not sooner. I went to Dr. Burley today and she seems to think that all is good and fine and the 12th will be the date. Then it was off to Dr. Atkinson's for another non-stress test and ultrasound. Ultrasound tech measured Rhealee at 8lbs 4oz. today! That is bigger than Taryn at full term. I go back to Dr. Burley next week and we may have to change the date to sooner rather later because of her size.

The nursery is almost ready and all the clothes are almost washed. We should finish up with the nursery this weekend and be ready! There seems to be more to do with the 2nd child than the first. I still need to wash the carseat covers and install the bases into the cars. But who has time?

The Brownfield Varsity Boys Basketball team is in the playoffs. We will be traveling to Merkel to play Brownwood on Friday night. It will be a late night followed by an early morning, for the diaper shower at church.

Until then, take care.

The Countdown is On!!!

The nursery walls are painted, the bedding is ordered all we like is putting some things on the wall and washing a whole bunch of baby clothes.

We had an ultrasound last week, and Rhealee measured 6.7lbs. They are concered about her size and there is a slight increase in my amniotic fluid. So I get to go back once a week for nonstress test. The good thing about this is we get to have an ultrasound each week until Rhealee decides to make her grand entrance into this world. (I will try to get some new ultrasound pics scanned in and post up here.)

We say Dr. Burley today and she assured us there was nothing to be worried about as far as size and the amount of fluid. She did go ahead and pencil us in for an induction on the 12th of March, but after leaving her office and talking about this, that is not a good date and we really dont want to go any earlier. So we may have to look at inducing on the 16th of March which would mean that Dr. Burley would not be the one delivering. We will just have to see what she says next week.

Basketball season for Cory is wrapping up. His last game is tomrrow night, but the Varsity Boys will be making a playoff run and Cory keeps the books and drives the Cub bus so he will still be busy helping with them on top of getting into track season. Wow it never ends!
