Time Flies When Your Having Fun...

Taryn enjoyed feeding the animals in the petting zoo. We got to see elephants, camels, donkeys, ponies, goats and sheep. She loved being out there and letting them eat out of her hand. We had told her we would probably go back by and see the animals again before we left Lubbock. Well she ended up getting to go to Lockney for the night and having a slumber party with Sydni so we didn't think we would be going back by. Well tears starting filling her eyes when she asked and we told her we didn't have time to stop and see them again. Needless to say we ended up stopping again and all she wanted was to see them. She didn't need to pet them or anything like that, she just wanted to see them again.

Taryn feel in love with the Greyhound dogs. She loved these dogs and they were really sweet and lovable. I think she would have stayed there all day if we would have let her.

Taryn standing inside the "BIG" mouth at the Science Spectrum. She is showing us her teeth.

Taryn and Cory with an albino snake of some sort. She loved touching the snake! YUCK!!!

Reptiles at the Critter Fest!

Taryn painting! It was a fun to watch her experiment with all the different colors on the coffee filter and how they ran together. She loved doing this and asks to do it almost everyday now.

Taryn wanted to eat supper on a Frisbee one night and I said "why not"? So we washed 3 Frisbees and all ate our supper on Frisbees. She really thought this was cool. I feel we will have many more nights like this. Why not?

Taryn feel asleep on the way to see Doakie at work one day. She had been feeding Rhealee and notice the bottle still in her hand. What a great little helper she is!

We spent several days in Lockney while Cory was out of town. We had the opportunity to get together with one of my old high school friends Tobi and her little girl Alexa. They enjoyed playing in the sandbox together and sliding down the slide. It was a great time!

I got the bright idea to roll Taryn's head in sponge rollers one Saturday night. I figured they would not last through the night and that we would be using the curling iron on Sunday morning. I was wrong! She slept in them all night and then didn't want me to take them out on Sunday morning for church. Since then, we have to roll her hair after every bath. It is super cute when it is curled.

Rhealee watching Taryn play. She wants to do what Taryn does so bad its funny. We got Rhealee in the water and she L-O-V-E-D every minute of it. In fact she cried when we took her out because her little lips where shivering. I was in the water with her and Cory was with Taryn, so unfortunately we did not get any pics of her first time in the water :(

Taryn and Cory swimming in Paige and Greg's pool. She loves the water!

Taryn playing in Paige and Greg's backyard after an evening of swimming.

Can you believe that Rhealee is already 3 months? Where has time gone already it seems like just yesterday she was born. Even harder is the fact that Taryn will turn 3 in about a month and a half.

Rhealee is rolling over, babbling, grabbing her feet and just about anything else you put in front of her face. She really enjoys sleeping on her tummy and when she smiles she lights up the room. She is really wanting to get down on the floor and play with her big sister and gets so excited, legs and arms going 90 to nothing, whenever Taryn comes and talks to her.

Taryn is growing up so fast I cant believe how big she is. There are days she still looks like a baby to me, but then most days she looks like a big kid. She is Potty Trained!! We still have an occasional accident, but for the most part we are accident free. She decided one night that she didn't want to sleep in pull ups anymore so we let her try and haven't gone back to them since. YEAH!!!!

Summer is in full swing, me and the girls don't have much going on but Cory is busy with summer school. The girls and I spent a couple of days up in Lockney while Cory was in Las Vegas on a school conference. Other than that we have not gone anywhere or done anything exciting. It doesn't look like we will be going on any trips this summer at all. Such is life!

This past week we took Taryn to Critter Fest at the Science Spectrum. She had so much fun looking and touching all the animals. She also enjoyed looking at all the cool stuff that the Science Spectrum had to offer. I feel we will be taking her back pretty soon and letting her explore again.

Here are some pics that I have needed to post for a while now. Hope everyone is having a great summer!
